For sale is an early, Gucci, Ophidia- like, navy blue suede and leather, RARE, large, structured tote with two, red and blue Sherry stripe accents at the center, two hard leather, 'punch' or 'port' hole handles, and an open top! This is a unique, vintage bag from Gucci, perfect for any time of year!
This tote is very similar to the vintage inspired styles Gucci has brought back with its new Ophidia and Rajah tote styles! The bag is a structured, 'punch' or 'port' hole handle, tote style bag by GUCCI. It is made from navy blue suede as the body and navy blue leather giving it the structured frame with two, red and blue Sherry stripe accents at the center. It has an open top without a closure. The body is in mint condition!
The interior is also in excellent overall condition. Inside, there is one main compartment and no pockets. The interior is lined with the diamond print fabric many Gucci purses of this era are in blue- see pictures. The fabric is very clean and shows no noticeable areas of wear and tear.
The purse predates serial numbers, but has been authenticated by a third party expert, so buy with confidence! It has been embossed with a gold stamp that reads, 'Made in Italy by Gucci'- see pictures- by the handle, which is what you would expect to see on an authentic purse of this style during the time it was made.
It has a classic look that will never go out of style and Gucci has brought back many of its similar, early looks in its newer lines! It'd be a fantastic addition to any collection! This bag was definitely made by the one of the top high end Italian designers that every lady deserves to own a purse by for her collection!
